What to do right now
While you are waiting to reach us or get to the office, these steps can help.
Knocked-Out Tooth
Hold it by the top, not the root. Rinse gently if dirty. Place it back in the socket if you can, or keep it in milk. Call us immediately. The first hour matters.
Broken Tooth
Rinse your mouth gently with warm water. Save any broken pieces if you can find them. Call us as soon as possible.
Swelling
Apply a cold compress to the outside of your face while you wait for us to see you.
Bleeding
Apply gentle, steady pressure with clean gauze or a clean cloth.

Tell us what is going on. We will ask questions, give first-aid guidance if needed, and book you in as soon as we can.

Before anything else, our goal is to get you comfortable. That might mean local anesthetic, a temporary repair, or medication.

What should I do if I knock out a tooth?
