Dr. Ahmed Ameen
General & Cosmetic Dentist
After developing a deep interest in treating and saving smiles, Dr. Ameen earned his Diploma of Oral Surgery from Baghdad University. He has since achieved his Diplomate Certificate from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, his Diplomate Certificate from the American Board of Oral Implantologists, and his Fellowship Diploma from The Royal College of Surgeons and Physicians of Glasgow, Scotland. He also teaches at High Tech Dental Seminars, speaks on full-arch surgery in Canada, Mexico, and the United States, speaks internationally on implants, and is an annual speaker for the Ontario Dental Association.
With a profound love of all forms of dentistry, he has earned a reputation for his kind, caring, and approachable demeanor and has been voted one of the “3 Best Rated Cosmetic Dentists In Thunder Bay.”
When Dr. Ameen is not focused on protecting and beautifying smiles, he enjoys being an active member of the Thunder Bay community and overseeing his three other dental practices across Ontario. In the past, he also had the pleasure and privilege of volunteering with the North American Red Cross!
Dr. Ibrahim
GENERAL DENTIST
After graduating from the University of Gezira in Sudan in 2023, Dr. Ibrahim completed the NDEB equivalency process in Canada and the Integrated National Board Dental Examination (INBDE) in the United States. He also holds a Diploma in Primary Care Dentistry (DipPCD RCSI) and is a Member of the Faculty of Dentistry at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland (MFD RCSI).
With a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Ibrahim is passionate about creating healthy, confident, and natural-looking smiles. He is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centred care and making every patient feel comfortable and valued. He also enjoys volunteering and giving back to the community.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Ibrahim enjoys spending time in parks and at beaches, especially in the early morning, where he appreciates the peace and beauty of nature.
Dr. Girija Dabas

Dr. Dabas believes that patients should never feel rushed, judged, or left wondering what is happening with their oral health. She takes the time to explain what she sees, why it matters, and what treatment options are available, so every patient can make informed decisions with confidence.
Painless dentistry is at the heart of her practice philosophy. From routine preventive care to more complex dental needs, she strives to make every visit as comfortable and positive as possible. Her goal is simple: for every patient to leave feeling heard, genuinely cared for, and confident that they received the best care possible.
Dr. Dabas enjoys treating patients of all ages — from a child experiencing their very first dental visit to seniors she has had the privilege of caring for over the years. She believes every patient has a story, and building long-term relationships is one of the most rewarding parts of being a dentist.
Outside the dental office, Dr. Dabas enjoys hiking, gardening and caring for her plants, and finding creative ways to keep her mind curious and engaged. And, of course, much of it happens under the watchful supervision of her cat.
